The TSRD is our standard product for switching on three-phase transformers of any design, for example for isolating transformers in special vehicles with rated currents of up to 50 A. To operate the TSRD, an external bypass contactor is required to bypass the internal actuators.
It also features our soft switch-on method and allows three-phase transformers or three single-phase transformers to be switched on together in no-load or under load without an inrush current.
The inrush current is also avoided here and not just limited.
