Filter monitoring

The use of filters in air conveying systems, such as ventilation systems or components of plant and mechanical engineering, is intended to filter the conveyed air from certain substances or particles. Over time, the filter becomes clogged and increasingly dirty. In order to ensure constant air delivery, the performance of the system is usually increased. As a result, the energy consumption of the system and the power losses at the filter increase. By using differential pressure transmitters, the degree of contamination of the filter can be constantly monitored. Early failure detection minimizes energy consumption and ensures consistently high air quality.

And now again in pictures:

How does filter monitoring by differential pressure measurement work?

Watch the video to see how differential pressure transmitters are used to monitor the degree of contamination of filters in ventilation pipes.
